Paying Your Rent

Ray White Forest Lake has a ‘Zero Tolerance’ for Rent Arrears

It is important that you consider paying your rent just like you would paying any other bill. Many people do not realise that your rental history will support your credit rating, therefore it’s important you are aware of the payment options and what is required.

We provide you with 3 options for paying rent, both are electronic forms of payment, as we are strictly a cashless office. These options include direct deposit, Payment Gateway system (credit card, automatic recurring payment, phone or internet transfer) or Money Order. It’s your choice as to which option you prefer.

Under the Residential Tenancies Act, you are required to pay your rent by the date noted on the schedule in your lease and it must always be paid in advance. Should you have any difficulties in paying your rent, please notify us as soon as possible.

If you have requested maintenance, you should not take matters into your own hands and stop paying rent as a way to get work done. If you do this, you are breaching your tenancy agreement, and you could be issued a Notice to Leave.

We have a strict policy on the payment and collection of rent. Should you fall behind for any reason, the below timeline provides you with a list of events.

The main method in paying rent is via the Ray White Payment Gateway system which allows you to pay via internet, phone, automatic payment, BPay, and over the counter at Australia Post outlets. Fees apply, and you will discuss all options when signing your tenancy agreement with your property manager. If you are paying by cheque or postal money order, please write your name and address on the back of the cheque. Rent is payable in advance and should reach our office on or before the due date. Our preferred method of paying rent is via: Payment Gateway.

Below are Ray White’s Payment Gateway Forms which assist in Tenants making rental payments. Once you have completed and returned the appropriate forms, you can click on the following links for internet payments:
